Oh the Frustration!

Oh the frustration….as you know from my last post we had hoped to have the MicroTESE surgery done by now. Well we have been going around in circles with my husband’s doctor and Cleveland Clinic and our Insurance. Luckily for us we do have infertility coverage, however trying to get the pre-approval has been a nightmare. Dealing with Cleveland Clinic has also been a nightmare. We cannot get anyone to call us back or even confirm that things have or have not been scheduled. The doctor never returns calls and we cannot get straight answers, this has been going on since the last Semen Analysis on May 5th. So now we are at the 6 month mark of Clomid and 9 months of Anastrozole so we have decide what the heck lets have some fun and do SA #5 which should be later this month. We also have consultations set up with Cleveland Clinic Fertiliy, University Hospitals Fertility and CNY in Buffalo, NY to get the IVF ball rolling. At this point I think we have decided to just get it all over with and do it simultaneously. We don’t want to drag this out any longer than we have to. Crossing fingers we can get everything started at the end of August/early September. If there is no sperm to be found we will freeze my eggs until we decide what our next step should be. As if all of this wasn’t already stressful enough, lets add on some unresponsive doctors and an unhelpful insurance company! Is it too much to ask for a plan and answers already?
