FET #1 CANCELLED

I will keep this one short and sweet, our FET cycle was a bust this time around. I was just fine at midnight when I went to bed and then at 4AM on the morning of the transfer I woke up sick as could be with the stomach flu! We called the doctor as soon as they opened at 8AM and the alerted the lab to hold off on thawing the embryo until the Doctor got in. At 10:30AM we got the call from our Doctor that the transfer was cancelled and to stop all meds. So close yet so far. Of all days to get sick, go figure! I can't help but believe there was a reason for this, and someone or something was actually looking out for us. While it is frustrating I feel oddly at peace and calm about it. We didn't lose anything and our embryo is still safe and in the freezer so while this is a setback it is not a loss and for that I am grateful! We will try again and it will work when the timing is right and my butt will be happy to have a slight break from PIO shots!
